2014- The Best Summer

It has been awhile since I have created anything using one of the great sketches on The Memory Nest and I had some time today so I created a layout for the Make it Monday No. 26 challenge.

supplies:
pp, die cuts and foam stickers: Pink Paislee
twine: Papertrey Ink
sequins: Crate Paper

This layout came together quickly since I already knew which photos I would use. I used larger photos, however I was able to stick pretty well to the original sketch, which you can see here

Thanks for stopping by, have a super week!

twig Wreath Christmas {card} SL #3

Happy October! :) It's time for the third challenge at the Scrapy Land blog. It's another anything goes challenge, which are always fun.

This card did not start off with a Christmas theme, but after I added the berries, it took on a life of it's own.

I used the Twig Wreath die from Impression Obsession. I cut the wreath twice and then folded up some of the sprigs once it was adhered to add some dimension and then added the berries. I must admit, I was a little afraid of the tiny berries, however I used a tweezer to put them on and it was quite simple, so don't let the size deter you.

This is such a versatile die and my head is already full of ideas of how I can use it next.

We would love for you to share your project with us for this challenge! Head on over to the Scrapy Land blog for more details and to see the amazing work from the team.

***Please make sure that the die(s) you use must be something that the Scrapy Land store sells. There is a huge selection and I encourage you to head to the store and check them out.
