Shine On

I haven't had a lot of scrappy time since sweet Princess Aubree was born, but a few weeks ago I managed to create two layouts that I forgot to share.

here is one of Ashlyn (the girl is THRIVING!). I used a school-themed collection on this. I have been hoarding it. lol

supplies:
cs: Hobby Lobby
pp, vellum and stickers: Websters Pages
enamel dots: MME
doily: Crutsey Boutique
twine
paper tape: Simple Stories

This layout is Ashlyn, myself and my husband. I have few layouts with me in them and I am making it a point to try to scrap myself more. :)

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you are enjoying your summer. Ours is just about over. I have decided to make things a lot easier on myself and am going to use an online curriculum for Ashlyn's core subjects this school year, We are going to begin a modified schedule next week so we can both learn the program so when she officially begins on August 17th we will have an idea of what to expect and have a little of the learning curve mastered. I imagine that it will take us several weeks to find a groove, but we'll get there.

She will get a break in between our "learning curve" week and actual starting week. She has been accepted to attend Camp Oasis (a special camp for kids with IBD- Crohn's or Ulcerative Colitis). She has been too ill to attend the past several years. so she is super excited to be able to go this year. I am thrilled for her, but I am going to miss her. It will be the longest I have ever been away from my baby, but she will be in excellent hands with a medical staff 24/7. She will have the opportunity to be with other kids her age who suffer from IBD as well, which is going to be an amazing experience for her. I am sure I will miss her more than she will miss me. lol

Today I am featuring the gorgeous 3 Girl JAM Charcoal crinkle ribbon from the new-ish Rustic Country Bundle. I love how this ribbon has a beautiful brownish/grayish base and enhanced the colors from the papers I used.

I created 3 bows and then cut them at the loops. I added a some of the ribbon through the chipboard button piece and then adhered it upon the ribbon.

Don't forget you have two ways to save at the 3 Girl JAM store; you can use the code RB10 to receive 10% off your entire purchase or you can purchase the special ribbon bundle of the month, the Summer Harvest Bundle, for just $1 with any purchase by using the  JULY!

It's baby week on the Epiphany Crafts blog and I am sharing a card and gift box set featuring the Shape Studio Round 14 tool and Shape Studio Accessories Round 14 Bubble Caps.
