As soon as I saw this sketch from The Memory Nest I had the idea to rotate it and use the center area as a tree. My execution did not go as fully planned (hence the added areas along each side- I greatly misjudged my initial pp and angles. lol). Overall the end result of the tree is pretty cool. I almost hated to cover it up, but I wanted to incorporate all three of the photos.
Here is Make it Monday No. 78:
The tree was created by cutting paper strips and then adding a slight curve along the bottom as well as cutting to create a fringe effect. They were then layered upon each other and then cut to get the desired shape.
I added some clear mist and some enamel dots. I then folded up and smushed some of the fringe for more texture.
