Blue Jean Baby

Hi! I cannot believe that Summer is almost over. My girls will start school next week and then the carefree days of Summer will quickly fade into homework, cooler temps and football. Skylar will be a senior this year and Ashlyn will be in 8th grade. I wish I could rewind back to June. :)

The final Summer Challenge has come for The Memory Nest. This is my layout for challenge #8.

I REALLY struggled with this one. I was so stressed for scrappy time, which I haven't had, I threw something together Saturday morning and I hated it. So much so that I threw the layout I had originally created for this challenge into the garbage. My kids looked at me with their jaws dropped to the ground. I have never done that before. lol So I sat back down and tried again and came up with this layout which I like much better.

Here is the challenge sketch and twist:

Head on over and share your layout created with this challenge. I'd love to see it! :)

I am off to Shriner's Hospital with Ashlyn today. It's going to be a long morning.

  2. I know exactly what you mean with the challenge. It was a hard one for me too. It took me several days to complete because I kept walking away from it and coming back hoping for some inspiration. I love how yours turned out and your title is perfect. :)
