It's been hectic around here lately. Ashlyn's school books and materials finally arrived a week ago today, so this week has been spent trying to get into a routine. We haven't done too bad; Monday she only made it through Math, Language, Spelling and Literature. Tuesday was a little better, but we still only managed to make it through the same classes. We never hit Art on Monday, nor Science on Tuesday. And History, well, we never had a chance to think about it either day. It's hard to spend all day working with her on schoolwork and then turn around and work from 4-10pm. I could really use a few extra hours each day. lol
Wednesday and Thursday we took off because we were both ill. Everyone of us here has this crud that is going around. Skye missed 5 days of school and I had to call in sick Wed. night. I hate that, but at least I can recover before tomorrow.

Today we made more progress, but we worked until 4PM. Thankfully I am off tonight. We will catch up this weekend sometime. I am really not stressed about it, we will make it up in time, so things will all be OK. I truly enjoy being able to work with her and spend the extra time with her on what she is struggling with. She missed so much school last year and she is behind, and even in just the few lessons we have worked on, I am already noticing improvement.

It's been weeks since I have scrapped and I managed to throw a card together today using fabulous Fancy Pants Designs products. I have been itching to create, but it's having to take a back burner to school with Ashlyn and work and my family.
