what's up?

Hi! Today I am sharing my first post as a design team member for the Frosted Designs challenge team.

The 1/30 challenge is entitled "what direction" and that your project needs to incorporate direction. You can use arrows or use directional words such as East, West, up, down, over, under, left, right, etc.

I used the word up- this giraffe kept nodding it's head up and down as if implying "what's up?". It was quite comical to watch. Then he smiled, although I am not sure if it was voluntary or not. lol

hello baby

Ahhh..., there is nothing as precious as a new baby and I am blessed to be able to have her here in our home with us. Aubree is almost two weeks old now and I am smitten. I love her cries, her little grunts, her smell and most of all the fact that I can pass her back to her momma when she has a dirty diaper. *wink* <3 div="">
Here is a layout I created using the Make it Monday #32 sketch from The Memory Nest. As soon as I saw the sketch I knew which photo and paper collection I was going to use.

a new niece

Hi! I finally got around to scrapping a photo of my sweet new granddaughter. I used the January 15th sketch challenge from Stuck?! Sketches as well as the January 16th Frosted Designs Friday challenge which is to create something using new. (You can click on the links and they will direct you to each challenge.)

Ashlyn was blessed to have been able to be in the delivery room the entire time and she is such a proud Aunt!

hello giraffe

I have been wanting to scrap these photos for months and I just didn't have the "perfect" papers to do so. Hobby Lobby had a sale recently and I picked up a pad of some WRMK papers that I have had my eyes on for awhile now.
I have similar photos of Ashlyn and hopefully will get to those soon.

Magical Memories {album} Clear Scraps

Hi! Raechelle here today sharing another one of the wonderful NEW Winter CHA 2015 albums. This one is the oh-so-fun Mixable Magical 8x9 Albums

Since I didn't have anything Disney I decided to go non-traditional and keep the colors light with more of a girly theme in mind.

sending hugs and kisses card}

Hello! I am sharing another card that I made for Skylar. I have been trying to make her some cards in addition to buying them to send to her while she is in Basic Training. I know they help to motivate her and keep her spirits uplifted. She is halfway through now and is doing well ,but she still misses home and having a "normal" life. She is thriving and I could not be more proud of her. <3 p="">

Boot Camp Box

Happy New Year!!! I began this layout on the 28th of December. It was supposed to be my final layout of 2014. But then it sat and sat on my desk and I didn't complete it until today and it has become my first layout of 2015. I dislike greatly when that happens because when something sits on my desk for days I lose all motivation and then it becomes something to just get done. That's how this one is- I am happy that it's done. I am not thrilled with it, but it's done and now I can move on to my next layout, which will hopefully be more to my liking. But hey, starting the year out with a two-page spread isn't too bad. ;)
