curious kitty | TMS 667

It's time for this week's sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches! Here is sketch #667:

I opted to flip this sketch and use rectangles vs. circles. You can see that I stayed true to the overall look of the sketch, though.

The patterned paper is Simple Stories, and the epoxy flair is from ScrappinHappyStudio!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you are well! :)

Check out the fantastic work on the blog from the TMS team using this sketch and others!

bubbles | TMS 665

Hey y'all! I hope you are doing well this week! :)

Here is this this week's Tuesday Morning Sketches sketch for you, #665:

When I first saw this sketch, I knew I wanted to do something special with the triangle on top, as well as using a geometric/triangle pattern. I accomplished both of these ideas by creating a large shaker pocket and using a bold triangle design patterned paper.

I used a couple of kits from Hip Kit Club to create this.

The super fun shaker pocket was created by gluing some vellum on top of the patterned paper and then filling it up with sequins from SpiegelMom Scraps. I finished it by adding some hand stitched lines, which serve no function other than adding some visual interest.

I do hope you check out the work from the rest of the TMS team! They are so talented! :)

all the feels | TMS 664

I blinked and July arrived. So hard to believe!

Here's the first Tuesday Morning Sketch of the month, #664:

I didn't create a banner, or add layers, but I improvised with a torn edge and some DMC floss for visual interest. I had a lot of fun creating this page for the sketch!

I added some hidden journaling in one of the cute little pockets:

This adorable paper collection is Doodlebug and the cut file is from Peartree Cutfiles.

Loving what the team created- check out their gorgeous cards on the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog! We'd love to see what you create, so be sure to share. :)

And I aodre the new canvas flair from ScrappinHappyStudio!

roam adventure explore |TMS 662

Hello! I'm back with another awesome sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches

This week is sketch #662:

The layout I created using this sketch definitely falls under the term "extremely loose interpretation"  hahaha! I did manage to incorporate a large sentiment, so there's that, and three trees.

This one boggled me a bit, even though it's pretty straightforward- use 3 photos in lieu of the flowers and bam! a completed page, however, I struggled trying to make that happen with a couple different photo sets so in the end I decided to scrap it all (no pun intended) and focus on the sentiment.

I used a digital kit from ScrappinHappyStudios for the pp- minus the base paper which I cannot recall.

cut file is from Peartree Cutfiles.

That's the beauty of a sketch- it doesn't have to align perfectly to be inspirational- clearly I've demonstrated that. ;)

You've gotta check out the fabulous work from the team on the TMS blog! Also, please share your take on this sketch- we'd love to see it!

Until next week, I wish you well!

Happy Birthday | TMS 660

Hey y'all! I hope all is well in your neck of the woods. :)

Here is Sketch #660 from Tuesday Morning Sketches:

My layout:

My approach was pretty literal. I used my Silhouette to create the three oval shapes for a template and then traced around it with a pencil and from there pounded out holes and hand stitched.

I layered some patterned paper and then went a bit overboard with fussy cutting the banners, but it made the layout more festive and adds movement. Folding up the ends of each banner/tassel piece was well worth the time in the end.

I do hope to see you join us in sharing your take of this fun sketch!

And don't forget to check out the amazing work from the team on the TMS blog!
