Golden Reindeer {card}

Hi! The newest challenge is up at Scrapy Land. For #5 it's another anything goes challenge so I decided to get a head start on some of my Christmas cards. 

I used the beautiful Tattered Lace Reindeer die which I cut and then misted with gold spray. I didn't remove the flourishes from the body because I wanted to keep the focus on the gorgeous reindeer and not have him lost on the background.

I played along with the other sketch from The Memory Nest. This is my take on MIM No. 27.

I used the new beautiful September Skies papers and embellishments along with a few other tags from Crate Paper and Dear Lizzie. The sequins are Teresa Collins.

I also have some machine stitching around the half circles.

2014- The Best Summer

It has been awhile since I have created anything using one of the great sketches on The Memory Nest and I had some time today so I created a layout for the Make it Monday No. 26 challenge.

This layout came together quickly since I already knew which photos I would use. I used larger photos, however I was able to stick pretty well to the original sketch, which you can see here.
