My dh's surgery was unsuccessful. They weren't able to induce an abnormal rhythm, thus were not able to locate the "needle in the haystack" problem area. *huge sigh* The doc. was frustrated because he witnessed all the activity 3 weeks ago and then after trying for 2.5 hours today to cause a disturbance, nothing. His heart was on it's best behavior last night and today, unfortunately.
So, tomorrow morning they are going to put him on a treadmill and see what activity, if any, they can produce and then will figure out what the next step will be.
At this point the doc. is unsure of what is next. It's going to depend on the test tomorrow morning.
It is what it is and it is common for this to happen and it's totally frustrating, but it's out of our control and all we can do is take it one step at a time.
The body sure is a funny thing.
So sad! Sending good vibes, Rae.
