Hello! It's time for sketch #681 from Tuesday Morning Sketches!
This sketch is so fun and I stayed pretty true to it.
Hello! Here's the weekly sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches, #680:
Here's my take:
I really liked the cluster element and made that my focal point.
Everything is from Simple Stories, but the twine which is Trendy Twine (Annie's Paper Boutique).
Don't forget to check out the gorgeous work from the rest of the TMS team! See you next week! :)
Hi y'all! :)
Here is the weekly sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches, #679:
I created a landscape vs. portrait design:
I just love how cute this is!
Everything but the floss and enamel dots is Bella Blvd.
Take some time to see what the other fabulous ladies on the team created by checking out the TMS blog! Don't forget to share your take on this great sketch as well.
(ugh- I just noticed that there's a rogue purple enamel dot on the card. But- It's going to stay. I'm not going through the process of photographing and editing again. lol)
Hello! Happy October to you (although I can hardly believe it!). :)
I've decided to mix things up a bit on my side this month- instead of layouts for Tuesday Morning Sketches, you'll be seeing cards.
Here is the first wonderful sketch to kick off this month, #678:
The only deviation in my take is that I didn't center the rectangle:
Hello! Life got a little crazy, so I missed last week, but I'm back today sharing the weekly sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches.
Here is sketch #677:
I used a cut file as one of the squares.
Cutfile is from Peartree Cutfiles, flair is from A Flair for Buttons, and everthing else is Elle's Studio. Oh, mists are Heidi Swapp and Shimmerz.
Be sure to share your take on this fun sketch and see how the rest of the talented team interpeted this sketch by visiting the TMS blog. :)
Hello! It's that time- here is the weekly sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches, #675:
This sketch leaves a lot of room for cuteness and space, so I chose to keep it pretty simple and fill my page with a large title (which is my interpretation of the line).
Cutfile is from Peartree cutfiles, pp and stickers are Bella Blvd., mist is Shimmerz, white paint, and epoxy flair is ScrappinHappyStudio.
Be sure to check out the fantastic work from the team and share your take on this sketch with us as well! :)
Hey y'all! It's time for the weekly sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches. The first one for September. Can you believe it?
Sketch 674:
Here is my take on the sketch. I used a cutfile in a hexagon shape to fill the center space vs. an oval. This cutfile also helped create the illusion of the corners on the sketch,
I used a collection from Simple Stories and the cutfile is from Peartree CutFiles.
Come on over to the TMS blog to see how the rest of the talented team interpreted this sketch. You can also share your take- which we'd love to see! :)
Hello! It's hard to believe that we are almost into September! That being said, here is the final Tuesday Morning Sketches sketch for August, number 673:
This sketch is so pretty! I was digging through some older photos and found some photos of my mom from a while back and I thought that this sketch would be perfect for them.
Hello! :) Here is the weekly sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches:
I was inspired by the background on this sketch, so I decided to cut my paper into strips to mimic it.
I kept the photo centered and worked around it. It was fast and fun to piece this together!
It's almost hard for to realize that this was 20 years ago! I've got grandchildren around the same age now. Time sure flies by!
I used Bella Blvd. and an epoxy flair from ScrappinHappyStudio.
Check out the AMAZING work from the rest of the oh-so-talented team on the TMS blog!
Hello! I'm back with another wonderful weekly sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches.
This is sketch #671:
I really love this sketch and my layout came together easily.
Hello! Here is the weekly sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches, #670.
Here's my take. I stayed pretty true to the sketch with the exception of the oval. I used a circle, well almost a complete circle. ;) I also included the twine/ribbon focal piece.
I used an older collection from Fancy Pants Designs, along with some older puffy alphas from Hip Kit Club and an epoxy flair from ScrappinHappyStudio.
You really should check out the stellar cards from the TMS team- you will love them!
Hi y'all! :)
I'm here to share this week's sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches- #669.
Hello scrappy friends!
Today I'm sharing the last Tuesday Morning Sketches sketch for the month of July. Wow! Another month just flew right by.
Here is sketch #668:
This sketch left a lot of room for options, so I decided to fill it with some adorable photos of our grandson, Lincoln. Isn't he the cutest?!
I used the Cocoa Vanilla Studio No Limits collection and a fun canvas flair button from ScrappinHappyStudio.
Take some time to check out the awesome work from the TMS team by visiting the blog. :)
It's time for this week's sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches! Here is sketch #667:
I opted to flip this sketch and use rectangles vs. circles. You can see that I stayed true to the overall look of the sketch, though.
The patterned paper is Simple Stories, and the epoxy flair is from ScrappinHappyStudio!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you are well! :)
Check out the fantastic work on the blog from the TMS team using this sketch and others!
Hey y'all! I hope you are doing well this week! :)
Here is this this week's Tuesday Morning Sketches sketch for you, #665:
When I first saw this sketch, I knew I wanted to do something special with the triangle on top, as well as using a geometric/triangle pattern. I accomplished both of these ideas by creating a large shaker pocket and using a bold triangle design patterned paper.
I used a couple of kits from Hip Kit Club to create this.
The super fun shaker pocket was created by gluing some vellum on top of the patterned paper and then filling it up with sequins from SpiegelMom Scraps. I finished it by adding some hand stitched lines, which serve no function other than adding some visual interest.
I do hope you check out the work from the rest of the TMS team! They are so talented! :)
I blinked and July arrived. So hard to believe!
Here's the first Tuesday Morning Sketch of the month, #664:
I didn't create a banner, or add layers, but I improvised with a torn edge and some DMC floss for visual interest. I had a lot of fun creating this page for the sketch!
I added some hidden journaling in one of the cute little pockets:
hey y'all! I don't know about you, but I am having a hard time believing that this is the last week in June!
It's Tuesday which means it's time for a fun new Tuesday Morning Sketches sketch:
This is sketch #663 and here's my take:
unlike last week, this one came together quickly for me! As soon as I received this photo of my granddaughter, I knew this collection from Simple Stories would be perfect!
This acrylic piece from Color Cast Designs was also perfect!
And I aodre the new canvas flair from ScrappinHappyStudio!
You're going to want to check out the fabulous work from the TMS team, so head on over to the blog to get your weekly fix of inspiration!
Hello! I'm back with another awesome sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches!
This week is sketch #662:
The layout I created using this sketch definitely falls under the term "extremely loose interpretation" hahaha! I did manage to incorporate a large sentiment, so there's that, and three trees.
This one boggled me a bit, even though it's pretty straightforward- use 3 photos in lieu of the flowers and bam! a completed page, however, I struggled trying to make that happen with a couple different photo sets so in the end I decided to scrap it all (no pun intended) and focus on the sentiment.
I used a digital kit from ScrappinHappyStudios for the pp- minus the base paper which I cannot recall.
cut file is from Peartree Cutfiles.
That's the beauty of a sketch- it doesn't have to align perfectly to be inspirational- clearly I've demonstrated that. ;)
You've gotta check out the fabulous work from the team on the TMS blog! Also, please share your take on this sketch- we'd love to see it!
Until next week, I wish you well!
